LYRICS TO MY HEART WILL GO ON
Love Theme from "Titanic" Celine Dion
Every night in my dreams I see you I feel you. That is how I know you go on. Far across the distance And spaces between us, You have come to show you go on... Near, Far, wherever you are,
I believe that the heart does go on.
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on...
Love can touch us one time
And last for a lifetime,
And never let go till we're gone.
Love was when I loved you
One true time I hold to,
In my life we'll always go on...
Near, Far, wherever you are,
I believe that the heart does go on.
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on...
You're here, there's nothing I fear,
And I know that my heart will go on.
We'll stay forever this way,
You are safe in my heart,
And my heart will go on and on

BLOOPERS
Continuity: The safe that was opened on deck was much bigger than the one shown being used eighty years earlier.
Continuity: When Jack is held prisoner in the Master-at-arms' office you can see from time to time in the background a two-berth room. The top berth is neatly kept but later on even though Jack is alone and handcuffed and Rose in the two occasions she comes into that office never enters that room you can see that there is a pillow lying across the bed's border.
Continuity: A small sign "crew only," helps Rose to find her way to free Jack from the handcuffs. It is located on the archway of the corridor, but it was not there when Jack and Rose had come at the same spot (the elevator's hall at E deck) a few hours before fleeing from Lovejoy.
Continuity: After Rose wakes in the water, ice is seen on Jack's upper lip; in the side angle it's not there.
Continuity: When Jack and Fabrizio are playing cards, a fairly deep sore is noticeable on Jack's left middle finger as he holds his cards. The sore is gone when Jack joins Rose in the first class dining room for dinner only a few days later (the sore looks too deep to have healed so quickly).
Continuity: When the smokestack is falling, the back of it comes out of the water. In the scene directly after, it is still coming out of the water.
Continuity: When the Titanic is in port, the sun appears to come from several different angles. Compare the following: The shadow of the crewman loading the car, the shadows of people walking up the gangplank, the shadow of the sun's rays in the steam, the shadows that Rose & family cast on the gangplank, and the sunlight on the yellow building when they first enter Titanic.
Continuity: When storming out of his room claiming to be robbed, parts of Cal's bangs are hanging in front of his face but when he turns around to see the steward his hair is tucked back smoothly.
Continuity: At the dinner scene and the party scene below decks that follows, Rose's gloves disappear, reappear then disappear again
Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Near the beginning of the movie, Brock refers to Rose as "Rose Calvertt." Rose introduced herself to Jack as "Rose Dewitt-Bukater." This implies that she married a Mr. Calvertt after landing in America.
Continuity: There is a small mole on Rose's face; when she boards the ship, it is shown on one side of her face (the film was flopped), and later in the movie it jumps to the other side.
Continuity: When they get Cal's safe on the deck of the Keldysh, a crewman starts to grind on the hinges. In the next scene, he is standing up, just preparing to kneel down and work on the safe.
Continuity: When Cal is looking for Rose on the Carpathia, you can see her standing in the background facing away from him without the blanket covering her head. In the very next shot, she is sitting down with the blanket covering her head.
Continuity: When Rose sets the ax between the bars as she takes off her coat, the ax blade rests against two metal bars to keep it from falling into the water. The next shot showing Rose from behind now shows the ax at a completely different angle with the blade positioned against only one metal bar.
Continuity: During Jack and Rose's trip on the deck to the bow right before the sinking, she is wearing flat shoes. In the water, laying on the furniture (as Jack hangs on) she is wearing high heels.
Continuity: After the "Lets stretch her legs" scene, we can see chief engineer Bell increasing steam pressure by turning the regulator counterclockwise. Later during the collision with the iceberg, we can see some worker decreasing pressure by starting to turn the regulator clockwise, yet in next shot he is turning the regulator counterclockwise still decreasing the pressure. Several shots later, after change to reverse, Bell is increasing pressure by turning the regulator clockwise.
Continuity: Paper money wad that First Officer Murdoch throws at Cal.
Factual Errors: J.J. Astor was killed by the collapse of Titanic's first funnel, yet he appears by the grand staircase several moments after the funnel's collapse.
Continuity: In the flyover shot after the "King of the world" scene, the shadows on the ship's bow are directed to the right, yet in the same shot stern shadows are directed almost backwards.
Continuity: Steam occasionally coming off First Officer Murdock's mouth as he is breathing during the collision with the iceberg. This appears in other scenes as well.
Continuity: When Jack and Fabrizio are standing at the bow Jack is holding his arm under the rope that goes up toward the look-out. In the next cut the arm is over and in the next again it's under.
Continuity: When Jack breaks down the third-class gate and frees the steerage passengers from the stairwell, you can see Tommy Ryan take Rose by the arm to get her over the fallen bench. In the next shot, he takes her arm again in the same place.
Anachronisms: The coin that Rose hands to Jack (as payment for the drawing) is an American dime with Franklyn Delano Roosevelt on it.
Gravity: When Jack is dead, Rose releases him into the water and he sinks. Human bodies float even without a lifejacket.
Echo: When the lifeboat is rowing through the bodies, the officer's voice echoes as he calls out. They are on the open sea and there would be nothing for his voice to echo off of.
Eyes: Young Rose has chestnut brown eyes, but Old Rose has deep blue eyes.

Things to watch for
LEFT TO RIGHT, RIGHT TO LEFT When Murdoch sees the iceberg, he yells "Hard to starboard!" meaning the officer should turn the wheel to until he can't anymore. The officer turns it to the left. STARBOARD is right!
DESERT ON TITANIC In Southhampton, you can see a spot of desert by the ship. The dry scenes were shot in Baja California(mexico).
OUCH! When the ship split in two, after it hit the water, Jack and Rose go back from the force. As that happens, Jack whops Rose's nose with his elbow very quickly. It's funny to watch cuz her nose bends backwards and her left eye closes. But it's very quick!
STARRY NIGHT
Later, when Rose is on the door and singing Come Josephine in my flying machine as she looks at the stars, we get her view. A few seconds later we see a constellation that looks like the heart of the Ocean.
NICE SCENERY....
When Jack and Rose are talking onboard, you see a palm tree and a sand dune by Jack's shoulder.
FIRST-CLASS IN DISGUISE
When Jack and Fabrizio board(STEERAGE passengers), it is just a few minutes until the ship leaves. In real life, all the steerage(ALL) boarded before the first class even started to board.
I'D LIKE A ROOM WITH A VIEW...
When jack is taken to the Master-At-Arms office because he *supposedly* took the heart of the ocean and his jacket, you CLEARLY see the room has a window. If you look at a plan of the real ship(in most books about titanic), you see that the office was in the middle and wouldn't have a window!
SKATEBOARDS!
When the ship goes almost vertical, many people slide down the deck. If you look closly you can see that they have skateboards on their backs and stomachs depending on which way they slide.
MAKE UP YOUR MIND!
When Jack and Rose bust through the door and the officer tells them they'll have to pay for it, you see a fat man w/ a mustache carrying his luggage. Later, the same man spins around to look at Cal as Cal steals Lovejoy's gun.
BLOODY HANDS
When Roses punches the less-than-helpful officer, he brings his hand up to his bloody nose. Before his hand even TOUCHES his nose, you see blood on it.
NOW YA SEE IT NOW YA DON'T
When Rose breaks the glass to get the ax, its breaks off. A second later, part of the glass is back.
BLACK GLOW
When the chubby guy dressed in white looks over and decides not to jump, he opens a bottle of whiskey and we see a back shot of him. In that backshot, the people next to him are all giving off a black glow-fuzz thing. Huh?
OLD MAN
When Rose is being drawn, the hands drawing the picture are covered in wrinkles and clearly too old to be Jack's. They belong to James Cameron, the director.
BOOZE ME!
In the dinner scene, Rose is drinking champagne. later on she drinks beer. Both are alcohol and she is seventeen! How can she drink alcohol if she is under 21?

Quotes
Cal Hockley: God, not those fingerpaintings again. They sure were a waste of money. Rose: The difference between Cal's taste in art and mine is that I have some. They're fascinating. Like being in a dream or something. There's truth but no logic.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fabrizio: I can see the Statue of Liberty already! ...Very small, of course.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Molly Brown: You shine up like a new penny.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rose: I am not a foreman in one of your mills which you can command. I am your fiancee.
Cal Hockley: My fian... my fiancee! My *wife* in practice if not yet by law and you will honor me. You will honor me the way a wife is required to honor a husband. Am I in any way unclear?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jack: That's the one good thing about Paris: there's a lot of girls willing to take their clothes off.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Rose shows Jack her engagement ring.]
Jack: My God! You would've gone straight to the bottom.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Trying to stop Rose from committing suicide by jumping from the ship.]
Jack: I'm not looking forward to jumping in after you. But like I said, I don't see a choice. I guess I'm kinda hoping you'll come back over the rail and get me off the hook here.
Rose: You're crazy!
Jack: That's what everybody says, but with all due respect miss, I'm not the one hanging off the back of a ship here.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rose: It doesn't look any bigger than the Mauritania.
Cal Hockley: You can be blase about some things, Rose, but not about Titanic. It's over a hundered feet longer than the Mauritania and far more luxurious.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jack: I love waking up in the morning not knowing where I'm gonna go or who I'm gonna meet. Just the other night I was sleeping under a bridge, and now here I am, on the grandest ship in the world, having champagne with you fine people.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rose: The last thing I need is another picture of me looking like a porcelain doll.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jack: I'm the king of the world!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Upon boarding the ship with Fabrizio.]
Jack: We are the luckiest sons of bitches in the world, you know that?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ismay: So you've not lit the last four boilers then?
Smith: No, I do not see the need. We are making excellent time.
Ismay: The press knows the size of Titanic, now I want them to marvel at her speed, too. We must give them something new to print. And the maiden voyage of Titanic must make headlines!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ruth DeWitt Bukater: So this is the ship they say is unsinkable.
Cal Hockley: It is unsinkable. God himself couldn't sink this ship.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rose: Teach me to ride like a man.
Jack: And chew tobacco like a man.
Rose: And spit like a man!
Jack: What, they didn't teach you that in finishing school?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cal Hockley: You're whore to him! You're whore to a gutter rat!Rose: I'd rather be his whore than your wife!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jack: This is crazy.
Rose: I know. It doesn't make any sense. That's why I trust it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[As Jack sketches her in the nude]
Rose: I believe you are blushing, Mr. Big Artiste. I can't imagine Monsieur Monet blushing.
Jack: He does landscapes.

Claire's Guide To Being On The Titanic
1) If the ship starts to sink, grab something and keep it with you. A plate. A pillow. A doorknob. A maid. Decades from now you'll be able to sell it for tons of money on eBay.
2) If you are unfortunate enough to be on the walkabout of the ship when it starts going vertical, make sure you've got a skateboard sewn onto your front or back of your clothes. Hey, it worked in the movie.
3) If you have no idea how to use an axe, don't worry. You'll learn.
4) True love comes before icky, snotty, uptight family and WAY before evil fiancees.
5) When someone stops chasing you and/or runs out of bullets, stop running.
6) Don't let anyone use you as a life preserver.
7) Make sure someone actually ran forward of their own volition before you murder them.
8) It's a good idea to keep a large door and/or a guy with a whistle nearby.
9) Don't even try to get back into the first-class crowd if you're wearing third-class clothing. They will NOT recognize you.
10) If you wear a hat when boarding, you'll survive. Cal, Ruth, Rose, Molly = hats. They all survived. Jack, Fabrizio, etc = hatless. They died.
11) If you want to call someone on TV, you'll be able to get their personal number within an hour or so.
12) While at first it might sound good to "go down like a gentlemen", it won't eventually.
13) Don't try and save little foreign boys. Their big foreign dads will get mad.
14) The first key you try will always work.
15) If you're gonna jump, do so before the ship goes totally vertical.
